Rubbish in the Recreation Ground

Our maintenance person has advised that on his litter picking rounds he has had to pick up soiled nappies at the Recreation ground.

For the health of those using the Rec, please ensure that soiled nappies are either correctly bagged and put in the bins provided or taken home and put in the bin there.

Expert team of conservators to assess repair works for Eleanor Cross

A specialist lead consultant and an expert team of conservators have now been appointed to review the repair works needed to Northampton's Eleanor Cross.

The appointments have been made following a successful grant application to Historic England, for 50% of the repair costs, which was confirmed at the end of May. The creation of this team was one of the grant conditions.
