It has been suggested on social media that the Parish Council may have dismantled the benches in Brackmills Park to enforce social distancing.
We would like to make it clear that the Council would never do such a thing as we consider them an essential amenity.

Northampton borough has seen a marked increase covid-19 cases and from Friday 21st August will be added to the government's watch list as "an area of intervention". Analysis shows that this spike is heavily influenced by a workplace outbreak at the Greencore food processing factory where 287 workers have tested positive.

There has been a surge of reports where the recipient has received messages through Facebook Messenger from friends/family requesting to use their Pay Pal account to receive funds from the sale of items on EBay. Overall, between 1 June 2020 and 31 July 2020 a total of 95 reports have been made which specifically mention that the item sold was a camera.

Northamptonshire Highways have made a request to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the length of Footpath KN6 as per the map attached.
The restriction is required for construction works.
The order will come into effect on 6th April 202 and will be in force for 6 months. An application may be made for an extension if needed.
