Northamptonshire Highways are requiring to carry out carriageway repairs on a section of the above road in Northampton. To undertake this safely will mean that the road will be closed for up to three Sundays commencing on the 15th March 2020.

From 3 February residents can subscribe to the garden waste collection service. Garden waste collections in Northampton Borough will become a chargeable service from Monday, 6 April 2020, with the last free garden waste collections scheduled to take place during the weeks beginning 23 and 30 March.

There has been news in the Northampton Chronicle that suggests that the transfer of Cherry Orchard from Northampton Borough Council to Hardingstone Parish Council is guaranteed and will happen soon.
The Parish Council have agreed to reopen negotiations after several conditions had been removed, but the new offer still needs to be received and reviewed before any paperwork is signed and transfers made.... Read More »

Northampton residents are being urged to take care who they employ to dispose of their waste, after a successful prosecution in December.

Northampton Borough Council and Veolia are encouraging residents to use up or recycle their leftover food to help reduce the amount of waste being sent to landfill.
