Residents' views are being sought ahead of plans to introduce an annual charge for garden waste collections in 2020.
An annual charge of around £42 per bin or 100 sack labels, is proposed to be introduced on Monday 6 April 2020 as Northampton Borough Council can no longer afford to run the service free of charge. The plans were proposed as part of the annual budget setting last year.

Northampton Borough Council is consulting on a proposal that would mean all property conversions to houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) anywhere in the borough would require planning permission.

Repair and conservation work on Northampton's Eleanor Cross is now complete and it is being removed from Historic England's Heritage at Risk Register.
Conservation experts from Skillington Workshop have been busy since April ensuring the monument continues to be preserved for future generations.

As many of you are aware, in May 2018 there was terrible flooding in the village and many houses were affected.
