A document setting out how more than 13,500 new dwellings will be delivered in Northampton by 2029 goes out for public consultation today.
The Local Plan Part 2 sets out the planning policy framework for Northampton for the next ten years and includes detail on sites identified for new housing, regeneration of the town centre, and expected quality of development.

Northampton Borough Council is set to consult over new parking proposals after it considered comments from businesses and the wider community.

A resident was tricked into paying to have a roof tile fixed. The men said they would come back to fix others and then asked if they could go inside for a coffee. Luckily to resident said NO as there may have also been a distraction burglary! The men mixed concrete in a bucket on the drive. The vehicle involved was a white unmarked van –not a large one – with ladders on the top.

A Northampton Borough Council spokesperson said: "We have levelled out a large number of ruts, drops and ditches which were created without authorisation at Cherry Orchard Woods, in response to complaints from people who use the park which their children and dogs.
