Northampton Bike Park

Police are urging cyclists not to use the trails at the Northampton Bike Park situated on the former Hardingstone 9 golf course, as the trails have not yet opened and work is still ongoing by developers. For updates on when the park will open, please monitor West Northamptonshire Council & Northamptonshire Sport.

The Northampton South Neighbourhood Policing Team have been visiting the park frequently and are aware of the insecurities in the parks perimeter and are working with partners to try & secure these.

We have also been made aware of electric bikes visiting the park and damaging the trails. These bikes do not qualify as legal 'electrically assisted pedal cycles' (EAPCs) as they are travelling in excess of 40mph & are not pedal assisted. It's therefore illegal for them to be used on land other than private land to which they have the land owner's permission.

We are encouraging residents to report any sightings of the above bikes to police on 101 or via the below online form…
