Northamptonshire Highways are scheduled to carry out some resurfacing works on Back Lane, Bouverie Road, Martins Lane, Ilex Close, Massey Close, Ansell Way & The Green. Remembrance Service 8th November 2020

With the current guidelines and the second lock down about to come into force the Remembrance Service this year will be a minimal affair.

There are plans to have a service at the War Memorial with key personnel, which will be recorded and live streamed on Facebook for residents to follow along whilst at home.

Updates from the Parish Council

It has been suggested on social media that the Parish Council may have dismantled the benches in Brackmills Park to enforce social distancing.

We would like to make it clear that the Council would never do such a thing as we consider them an essential amenity.

Update on Covid-19 in Northampton from Northampton County Council

Northampton borough has seen a marked increase covid-19 cases and from Friday 21st August will be added to the government's watch list as "an area of intervention". Analysis shows that this spike is heavily influenced by a workplace outbreak at the Greencore food processing factory where 287 workers have tested positive.

Compromised Facebook Accounts Used To Lure Victims Into Paypal Scam

There has been a surge of reports where the recipient has received messages through Facebook Messenger from friends/family requesting to use their Pay Pal account to receive funds from the sale of items on EBay. Overall, between 1 June 2020 and 31 July 2020 a total of 95 reports have been made which specifically mention that the item sold was a camera.
