There has been an increase in the number of burglaries in Northampton recently, the majority in evenings/night time.
Lock windows and doors, use a timer for lights switches. Keep curtains drawn with light on inside the premises.
CCTV helps the police catch and detain those responsible.

As of 7 January 2021, Action Fraud had received 57 reports from members of the public who have been sent text messages claiming to be from the NHS, offering them the opportunity to sign up for coronavirus vaccinations. The Parish Council would like to say a big thank you to those residents who have been helping keep our village clean and tidy. We know there are several of you that go and litter pick on Houghton Hill, Cherry Orchard and in the Rec. making the areas pleasant for all who visit.

We understand that there are many concerns from people in the village about the proposals for a bike park on the Hardingstone 9.
The survey that is currently out is to help with a funding application, to show that there is a need for this type of facility and that people will use it.

There seems to be a lot of concern about the e-scooters which appear to have been abandoned in the village.
