West Northamptonshire Parks Visitors Feedback Survey

West Northants Council manages over 190 parks and open spaces, the majority being situated within Northampton Town. This feedback survey is about 24 of these parks. We would like to hear about the park you visit the most. The information you provide will help us to improve our parks and open spaces and to prioritise work plans.

This consultation closes at midnight on 31 March 2023.

Planning Application for Phase 2 of SUE development

I have today been advised that there is a planning application for the 2nd Phase of the new development off Newport Pagnell Road.

Details for this can be found on West Northants Website here.

The closing date for responses is 30th June 2022.

The Parish Council will be looking at this at their Planning Meeting on 21st June.

As part of the new development, there will be a community centre built. Hardingstone Parish Council have been asked if they would like to take on this community building. Upper Nene Valley - Visitor Survey

North and West Northants Councils with Bedford Borough Council and the Wildlife Trust are currently undertaking a project to understand how people use the Upper Nene Valley so we can understand the impact on the important wildlife habitats. Have your say on bus lane enforcement at Weedon Road / St James’ Road, Northampton

West Northamptonshire Council has launched a public consultation on bus lane enforcement at Westbridge in the Weedon Road / St James area of Northampton.

The purpose of the bus lane is to ensure that bus services run on time, in order to reduce car journeys, reduce congestion, and improve choice. It also allows taxis and active travel users access at all times.

Bike Park Survey

We understand that there are many concerns from people in the village about the proposals for a bike park on the Hardingstone 9.

The survey that is currently out is to help with a funding application, to show that there is a need for this type of facility and that people will use it.
