With the current guidelines and the second lock down about to come into force the Remembrance Service this year will be a minimal affair.
There are plans to have a service at the War Memorial with key personnel, which will be recorded and live streamed on Facebook for residents to follow along whilst at home.

Narnia inspired Christmas activities are to launch at Northampton Borough Council's annual Christmas lights switch-on, which takes place on Saturday 23 November.
Free festive entertainment from 2pm, will help keep families amused in the run up to the lights-switch on at 5pm.

Experts commissioned to repair the Eleanor Cross will speak during a second presentation at the London Road site on Friday, 16 August, to discuss the works taking place and explain how they are fixing the defects found in the structure of the cross.

Police have become aware that recently, particularly the mornings at about 0800hrs, males have been seen looking into vehicles in the Wootton area. Please keep all vehicles locked and secured and have nothing on show at all.
There have also been two confirmed vehicle breaks where items were left on show.
